Very good video. As someone wanting to get a DL I find merging lanes to be the scariest.
Now, combine that with the evil left hand merge We have a couple of those here. The entrance ramp is uphill around a sharp curve as well. The acceleration lane pretty much drops off into a bridge abutment.
So to recap, short acceleration lane, uphill around a sharp curve, merging into the fast lane with traffic moving at 65+ mph. Now add big rigs to the equation.
I use this ramp daily. Had way too many close calls there.
LOL, if one is scared of there car, and the cars that surround them. Please get off the road. Public transport is the safest option for all fellow countrymen.

Two days ago an 80 year old disoriented woman slammed her car right into mine when she was merging – she merged right into my car ! I was in the left non turning lane just going the way I supposed to go when she slammed into my left side where my son was sitting at. She hit my doors and back end of my car. She had the audacity to say that I probably was going too fast ! I think people over the age of 70 should be examined yearly if they still know how to drive safely to avoid road hazards!

Bacevich is one of the very very few American historians who has the pills to say it like it is. He has full command of facts and speaks directly about them. That’s why the imperial grease-ball called the mainstream media avoid him all they can.
